Surface treatment
Technology in Budapest: pre-treatment is made only on aluminium. They produce titanium-based heavy metal free conversion layer accepted by the Qualicoat standard, perform pre-treatment in 8-bath
system controlled by the Metalcham Ltd.
Technology in Miskolc: pre-treatment is made on steel and aluminium. They perform degreasing and sand blasting on steel, while pre-treatment in 7-bath system controlled by the Metalcham Ltd with
yellow chromate accepted by the Qualicoat standard on aluminium.
Powder coating
After chemical pre-treatment and drying, the workpieces hung on steel beams are forwarded through a conveyer to the powder coating cabin where the special powder coating is done.
Powder coating is made for the following:
- Base materials for outdoor and indoor use
- Matt, silk, glossy, structural
- Decorative coating of wooden effect
Baking
The last element of the powder coating technology is the baking when the cross-linking of powder coating takes place; it flattens out and fully adheres to the workpiece.
The workpieces of proper number are placed in the baking oven, where the baking of the powder coating takes place.
We regularly check the uniform heat distribution of our ovens, and document it in accordance with the
Qualicoat specifications.
Rolling, prefabrication
We undertake to prefabricate SCHÜCO thermal bridge free aluminium profiles marketed by ALUKÖNIGSTAHL Ltd with our prefabricating-rolling machine Isomat 5.
Packaging and shipment
In accordance with our clients’ demands, we pack the finished products on pallet, wooden crate or metal crate depending on the product, covered with foam foil.
At the client’s request we also glue UV resistant protective foil on the powder coated surface, which protects the product from possible injuries during the fabrication and installation, and finally it can be removed easily without any mark.
